- Avoid alcohol for 24 hours prior (reduces bruising risk).
- Skip aspirin, ibuprofen, fish oil, or vitamin E for 3–5 days unless prescribed by your doctor (thins blood and increases bruising).
- Arrive with clean skin, no makeup or lotions.
- Let your provider know if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or have a history of neuromuscular disorders.
- Quick, tiny injections with minimal discomfort (numbing optional).
- Mild pinching or pressure may be felt at injection sites.
- Entire session typically takes 10–20 minutes.
- Stay upright for 4–6 hours — no lying down.
- Avoid rubbing, pressing, or massaging the treated area for 24 hours.
- Skip strenuous exercise, saunas, and hot tubs for 24 hours.
- Small bumps or redness usually fade within 30 minutes.
- Results start in 3–5 days, full effect in 10–14 days.
- Effects last 3–4 months (Neurotoxin) 6 -12 months (Filler)
- Mild swelling, redness, or bruising is normal and can last 2–7 days.
- Apply ice packs (wrapped in a clean cloth) for short intervals to reduce swelling.
